Our menus are cooked by the women of Tassaouirgane — slow tajines, garden vegetables, whole spices and Tanort bread hand-kneaded each morning and baked in the wood-fired oven. Breakfast and dinner are served on the panoramic terrace or around the fire.
Not staying with us? Outside guests are welcome to eat here too — simply book your table in advance.

After dark
The Dark Sky Observatory
With no town lights for miles, the valley sky above Dar Tassa is astonishingly dark. On clear evenings we set up on the panoramic terrace with a telescope and a pot of mint tea: planets, star clusters, the Milky Way and the Amazigh names the mountains still use for them. Sessions are guided, unhurried and suitable for complete beginners.

The living space is amazing, the four-sided fireplace in the middle of the room is impressive and creates a great atmosphere.
