The Retreat
The house has one Studio Toubkal with its own private balcony overlooking the valley, and four Junior En-Suites — two on the ground floor and two on the lower level — all looking out over the Azaden valley in the heart of Toubkal National Park. Breakfast on the panoramic terrace is included with every stay.
Our largest room, set on its own level with a private balcony facing the Azaden valley. Thick earth walls keep it cool in summer and warm in winter, and the bathroom looks straight out at the mountains.
Four warm, quiet en-suite rooms — two on the ground floor and two on the lower level — opening onto the shared patio with its four-sided fireplace. Each one is decorated with local textiles and lit by the soft light of the valley in the morning.

The kitchen
Food here is a continuation of the old ways — no commercial kitchen, no refined white flour, no mass-produced shortcuts. We pay more to source well so that every plate stays nourishing and true to the heritage of Tassaouirgane.
Whether you are back from a long trek or heading out for an evening of stargazing, dinner is served at the family table.
Our restaurant is open to outside guests as well — you do not need to be staying with us to eat here, but please book your table in advance so the kitchen can prepare.

No conventionally trained chefs — our menus are entrusted to the women of Tassaouirgane, who learned these recipes at home and cook for village weddings and celebrations.
Herbs from our garden or the morning market, whole spices milled for our kitchen alone, and local olive oil from the current year's harvest.
Hand-kneaded daily from barley, wheat and semolina, then baked in the wood-fired oven — earthy, nourishing and faintly smoky.

A 50% deposit secures the room; the balance is paid at the house. Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival — the deposit is refunded in full.
We send driving or transfer directions to Azaden, and we plan any walks, workshops or holistic sessions before you arrive. Bring layers and comfortable walking shoes.
